Terms & Conditions

HIRE AGREEMENT -- Including Terms and Conditions of Hire

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the inflatable to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable and persons using it.
Please ensure the following safety instructions are followed.

All our Inflatable’s have an age limit based on the size and strength of the inflatable.

Toddlers inflatable age limit 2 -6 years. Children’s inflatable age limit 7 – 14. Adult inflatable age 14 and above.

Please ensure no one over the correct age limits uses the equipment, if we know that the age limits have been exceeded we will need to send the inflatable off for safety testing and the cost of any repair, if needed will be levied onto the customer.

Please ensure that the inflatable is kept in a clean condition – if we have to take the inflatable away to clean before the next hire, then a charge will be made to the customer to cover the unit being laundered.

No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable, this will also prevent risk of choking and /or mess. If collected in a dirty condition, the customer will incur a cleaning charge.

All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, and any sharp objects MUST be removed before using the inflatable.

No smoking or barbeques near the inflatable.

No climbing, hanging or sitting on inflatable walls or safety netting, this is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.

A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.

Always ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to age and size of children using it. Try to avoid large and small children from using it at the same time.

Children MUST NOT push, fight, collide, somersault, or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to themselves or others.

If the Inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower of at the mains.

DO NOT allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step, as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt, The step is there to help users get on and of the inflatable only.

Ensure no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable, as indeed any child feeling unwell.

DO NOT allow anyone on the inflatable during inflation or deflation of the equipment as this is dangerous.

NO PETS, TOYS or SHARP instruments to be allowed on or near the inflatable.

Please ensure that users of the inflatable are dressed appropriately, and that there is nothing in their pockets. Inflatable users must not attempt somersaults whilst using the inflatable.

Ensure that there is at least an area of 6 feet clearance of objects, and/or obstructions around the complete area of the inflatable.

If no shower cover is fitted the inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area, if practical Towel dry the jumping area before re-using. When a shower cover is fitted, and there is anything more than light rain, the inflatable should be turned off and the electric blower and any extension cables should be disconnected and brought in out of the rain. Any wetness including bubbling ( which is normal ) can be towel dried later when rain stops before re-use.

In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get of the inflatable immediately. The blower has a Automatic safety reset. Unplug blower from mains, leave for two minutes, then plug back in and turn on, blower should reset, ensure the inflation tube has not come undone, and/or that the blower has no obstructions preventing it from working correctly. If the blower does not restart contact us ASAP for a replacement blower.


Cancellation terms apply once a booking has been accepted, either verbally or in writing. Bouncyrascals terms apply and take preference over any such terms in client’s standard terms. Unless otherwise indicated the following applies :-

Cancellations within one week 100 % payable

Cancellations within one month 50% payable

Cancellations within six months 25% payable

Bouncyrascals will only operate within accepted standards of Health & Safety and our staff on site, reserve the right to refuse to provide services that contravene those standards, or the terms of our insurance.

Please ensure there is a minimum of 6 feet clear access to where the inflatable is going, and if there are any stairs that Boucyrascals are notified when booking. Failure to notify us could result in cancellation of your booking.

Bouncyrascals reserves the right to cancel any outside booking if unsuitable weather conditions have been forecast, which would contravene our Health & Safety standards, and is likely to cause harm and/or injury to our customers. If bouncyrascals has to cancel bookings for this reason no booking fee will be payable by the customer.

In the event of our services having to be cancelled or ended early during the day of hire, due to unsuitable weather conditions, the full hire fee will still be payable

Please Note: Hirers will be required to sign the following Disclaimer before the commencement of hire, unfortunately we are unable to provide our Bouncy Castles unless this Disclaimer is signed by the hirer.


Please note that all persons using the inflatable do so at their own risk.

The person or organization hiring the inflatable equipment will be responsible and liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsible of the hirer/customer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

Bouncyrascals cannot accept responsibility for any loss or injury caused to anyone using the equipment.

I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions as above.

I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable and agree to pay for any loss or damage that may occur. This also includes the inflatable being returned in an acceptable condition. If it is in a dirty or muddy condition, i will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge.

All equipment will be returned to bouncyrascals in the same condition as at the start of the hire.
